Every house has a story; tracing the history of your property and finding out about the people who lived there can be absolutely fascinating, interesting and rewarding. This course is for you if you are interested in the history and development of your house and how it fits into the history of your area but have no previous research experience.
Each week you will be guided through the next steps, finding out how available source materials in archive and record offices can help you get the answers you are looking for, whether that is to find out more about the actual building or the people who lived in it and how the local community developed.
