Gilroy Nature Park Walk
The next 3Ls walk will be on Friday 27th March. We will walk from Carr Lane in Hoylake through open farmland to the hidden gem of Gilroy Nature Park with its attractive lake and woodland. From here we will make our way back around the perimeter of the (now closed) Hoylake Municipal Golf Course. It is proposed to take refreshments at the "Map" Café nearby. The walk is almost completely flat and generally good under foot, although some of the paths may be muddy after heavy rain. The distance is 3 miles. We will meet at 10.00 am at Hoylake railway station forecourt. There is a large, free car park on the right-hand side of Carr Lane immediately beyond the level crossing (CH47 4AA).
