Wild Britain: Landscapes, Plants and People  Term 1: How the British landscape was made.

Discover how the landscapes around you came to look the way they do. Journey through  the evolution of plants, deserts and dinosaurs on the Wirral, through the impact of the Ice Ages to farming, industry and gardens. How geological processes, and early plants have shaped the landscape. How people have influenced the land, from prehistoric woodlands, farming, and the Industrial Revolution, alongside the influence of western plant hunters and gardens. Why features like hedgerows, woodlands, and moorlands exist today. How plants, both native and introduced, help shape the landscape you see now.
