Functional fitness exercises help you to perform activities in everyday life more easily. The exercises use the whole body and multiple muscles at the same time, known as compound exercises. There will be an emphasis on core strength and balance/stability. Mirroring the movements of your daily life, like squatting, lunging, reaching, carrying, etc., these exercises build functional fitness, flexibility and strength, which can help to increase your quality of life and reduce the risk of injury as we age. Wear light loose clothing.
