Term 3

This term we will be looking at the significant economic, political and social changes that have shaped Britain today.  The arrival of the Mods and Rockers, the miniskirt and the impact of the Age of Affluence will be covered, as well as the civil rights movement in Ireland to the Good Friday Agreement.   We will also look at  the industrial unrest of the 1970s and 80s, Thatcherism, devolution and Britain’s entry into the European Union.
